Without these, you could get permanently locked out of your account. Copy these somewhere safe like a secure password manager. Save backup codes: Epic will generate 10 backup codes you can use to access your account if you ever lose access to your phone or 2FA app.Type this number into the website and click Confirm. Open the app on your phone, and it will show you a 6-digit number that refreshes every 30 seconds. Enter in authenticator app: You will then be asked to enter in a code generated by your authenticator app.Enable two-factor authentication: Under “Password & Security”, click the “Two-Factor Authentication” tab.Click on your profile picture at the top right and choose “Settings”. Access Epic Games account settings: Go to the Epic Games website and log into your account. These apps generate the unique codes needed for 2FA.
